“Come on, come on, come on,” Natasha repeated, whispering to no one in particular as she pressed her mobile harder against her ear. The network was busy with everyone else doing the exact same thing she was, she couldn’t get it to connect, hours of trying to get through and only once had the phone at the other end rung. Only it had rung, and rung, and rung, until finally it had rung out, going to voicemail.
